Welcome to my portfolio!

“A year of celebrating joy and resilience in Lawrence’s trans community”
Byline: Lane Rozin (he/they) | lanerozin@gmail.com
From protests and a Pride parade to working against anti-LGBTQ+ legislation and more, the transgender community in Lawrence celebrated joy and resilience in many ways throughout 2023.

My name is Lane Rozin (he/they) and I am the Arts & Culture Editor at the University of Kansan and a Multimedia Intern at the Lawrence Times in Lawrence, Kansas.

I host the radio talk shows “Queer Talk” and “The Witching Hour” at KJHK.

I have written and directed short films such as “The Remote,” “Deception” and was the assistant director for “Midnight Harvest.”

From writing articles to screenplays, photography, directing, editing, creating graphics and podcasts, to volunteering at KU’s student led radio station and more — Being creative and telling stories is my passion.

While I still have room to grow as a storyteller, I hope my work will change the world one story at a time. This portfolio chronicles my journey as a storyteller, director and journalist. Enjoy.
